Meet the September “Leader of Tomorrow”, Wyatt!
Wyatt Robbins:
Wyatt is a 13-year-old that just completed his first year at Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) in 2020-2021. During his first year at CCA he studied all honors courses and maintained a straight A average, he participated in virtual field trips, and also got to continue to play tennis for his home district. Wyatt enjoyed his first year at CCA so much that he is now planning to finish out his high school career with them and still able to enjoy playing the sport he loves in his home district.
About CCA
CCA is the largest K-12 public cyber charter school in Pennsylvania and is available as a public school option at no cost to PA families.
It is the mission of CCA to deliver a personalized learning experience that engages the entire family and prepares learners to succeed in school and in life. Expert teachers, a dynamic and customizable curriculum, a one-of-a-kind learning management system, and a slew of family-focused services ensure each student has the flexibility to learn and grow.
CCA provides new families everything they need to get off to a great start. Technology, curriculum materials and internet subsidies are provided. Family mentors guide the way with their years of experience facilitating school from home, and the CCA Family Involvement Coordinators make sure families have access to great advice, tips and ideas for a great school year.
The CCA experience goes far beyond the classroom. Students have access to over 600 virtual and in-person field trips and events. The more than 50 clubs at CCA ensure every student has the chance to explore their passions. Also, Community Class reimbursements mean families can extend learning with opportunities in thier own neighborhoods.
The CCA vision of transforming today’s learners into tomorrow’s leaders, one learner at a time, mean a focus on career readiness. With Career Pathways, career counseling, work-based learning opportunities, and the CCAWorks programs, every learner can graduate from CCA knowing they have the skills and experience to succeed in college, the military, or the workforce.
