MORELAND BAPTIST CHURCH PRESENTS THEIR ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL – A COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENT! KNOWN LOCALLY AS “DRIVE YOUR TRACTOR TO CHURCH SUNDAY”. PLEASE JOIN THEM AT 10:30 AM ON SEPTEMBER 29TH FOR SERVICE OUTSIDE UNDER THE PAVILION. MUSIC BY CHRIS PICK. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED ALONG WITH FESTIVITIES: AN INFLATABLE OBSTACLE COURSE, HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES, A TRACTOR PARADE, BARREL TRAIN, HAY RIDES, POPCORN, FACE PAINTING, AND MORE! In Touch with Freddi Hammer – Code Red: Period
“Code Red: Period” is a new initiative by the Junior League of Williamsport to raise funds that will provide supplies for middle and high school age girls in Central PA who face “period poverty,” when the cost of sanitary items is more than they or their families can afford, not to mention the anxiety teens can experience if they are unprepared. Lilli Amanda Crum and LaTricia Scutching from the Junior League talk with Freddi Hammer about their efforts and how we can donate or support the teachers who support the young women in our schools.
