Loyalsock Township Recreation Department Christmas Parade

THE LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND THE LOYALSOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY HAVE TEAMED UP AGAIN THIS YEAR TO ORGANIZE THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH. THEY’D LIKE TO INVITE CIVIC GOUPS, YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS, SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AND CLUBS, CHURCH GROUPS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, AND INTERESTED AREA CITIZENS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR’S HOLIDAY PARADE. THIS YEAR’S THEME IS “OLDE TYME CHRISTMAS”. REGISTER UP TO THE DAY BEFORE THE PARADE. THE PARADE WILL FORM AT 12:30 AND DEPART AT 1:30 FROM THE LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP MIDDLE SCHOOL. AFTER THE PARADE, MAKE SURE YOU VISIT JAMES SHORT PARK FOR THEIR HOLIDAY IN THE PARK EVENT FROM 5:30 UNTIL 7:00. ENJOY HOLIDAY LIGHTS AND DISPLAYS, FREE WAGON RIDES, LIVE PERFORMANCES, REFRESHMENTS AND A VISIT FROM SANTA AND FRIENDS. COME OUT AND CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON IN LOYALSOCK ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH WITH THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE AT 1:30 AND THE HOLIDAY IN THE PARK EVENT AT JAMES SHORT PARK FROM 5: 3O TO 7:00.

Backyard Business Spotlight for September 2024

It’s the September 2024 episode of the Backyard Business Spotlight with Shawn Carey and Jason Fink, President/CEO of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.

Also, there are updates on the Maynard Street Wawa construction as they target an opening by the end of 2024, talks with possible future companies that could head to The District of Lycoming Valley and the return of the Pie Day 5K on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th.
