FUNDRAISER IN MEMORY OF TOOT RHINE AT VFW POST 7863, 150 SHAFFER ST. DUBOISTOWN, PA. SATURDAY  NOVEMBER 16TH FROM 1:00 TO 5:00 P.M.. SOUP COOK OFF & TASTINGS WITH 1ST & 2ND PRIZES AWARDED. ALSO 50/50, RIP TICKETS & A BASKET RAFFLE. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ALL PROCEEDS TO BE DONATED TO MILITARY SHARE, OUR PROGRAM TO PROVIDE FOOD TO VETERANS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Loyalsock Township Recreation Department Christmas Parade

THE LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND THE LOYALSOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY HAVE TEAMED UP AGAIN THIS YEAR TO ORGANIZE THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH. THEY’D LIKE TO INVITE CIVIC GOUPS, YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS, SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AND CLUBS, CHURCH GROUPS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, AND INTERESTED AREA CITIZENS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR’S HOLIDAY PARADE. THIS YEAR’S THEME IS “OLDE TYME CHRISTMAS”. REGISTER UP TO THE DAY BEFORE THE PARADE. THE PARADE WILL FORM AT 12:30 AND DEPART AT 1:30 FROM THE LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP MIDDLE SCHOOL. AFTER THE PARADE, MAKE SURE YOU VISIT JAMES SHORT PARK FOR THEIR HOLIDAY IN THE PARK EVENT FROM 5:30 UNTIL 7:00. ENJOY HOLIDAY LIGHTS AND DISPLAYS, FREE WAGON RIDES, LIVE PERFORMANCES, REFRESHMENTS AND A VISIT FROM SANTA AND FRIENDS. COME OUT AND CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON IN LOYALSOCK ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH WITH THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE AT 1:30 AND THE HOLIDAY IN THE PARK EVENT AT JAMES SHORT PARK FROM 5: 3O TO 7:00.

“Wreaths Across America – Central PA” raisesfunds all year to  place wreaths on the graves of local veterans so that no military member is ever forgotten.
